Joy MacPhail is a partner in the BC based production company, Shavick Entertainment and is Chair of the Board of OUTtv, the oldest Gay and Lesbian Specialty TV channel in existence. Formerly, Ms. MacPhail was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of BC for 14 years. During that time she honed her media skills and acquired business competence at the executive level while carrying out the duties of several senior Cabinet portfolios, including the Ministry of Finance. A graduate of the London School of Economics, Joy MacPhail is active as a media commentator on Canadian national televison. She will be a board member and will also develop and produce for Convergent Entertainment.
